I am a second-year graduate student in the Department of Biology at Temple University. I joined the Habas Lab in fall of 2014 and am currently studying the canonical Wnt signaling pathway.
I am marine biologist with special interest in the ecology and dynamics of shallow and deep-water coral reefs. My studies are focused in the response of marine calcifying organisms to anthropogenic disturbances. Currently I am Doctoral student in the Cordes Lab in the Department of Biology at Temple University where I am studying the response of octocorals and hard coral species of deep-sea ecosystems to future scenarios of ocean acidification and climate change.
student in the Biology department at Temple University, in Philadelphia, PA. I joined the Cordes lab in the Summer of 2012. BS in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology,. From Pennsylvania State University in 2011. I currently have a broad range of research interests in marine biology and deep-sea ecology. I am particularly interested in the effects of the Deep-water Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico on deep-sea coral communities.
