Over the course of this semester, more or less near the end of it, my Public Affairs Reporting class has been reading True Enough by Farhad Manjoo. The book discusses our current society and what people tend to believe as opposed to what is factual and objective news.

Irked me is because of his bias. As soon as I started reading the book I knew that Manjoo and I would never be friends. And that is the constant theme through out the book.

Growing up, I loved to read. I remember being obsessed with R. In 6th grade, my class had an assignment to read a book and then deliver a speech in front of the class about what we read. We had 2 minutes for our speech. I was all about it. My reading still revolves around ESPN. com articles and various sports blogs. Why do I mention this? .
