We went to the Kaiser Memorial Tower to view what little is left of the history of what happened here during World War II. Long before I was born, my father and an uncle worked in that shipyard. It is a shame that idiot people have nothing better to do than destroy a memorial. Sunday afternoon we heard there was a farmers market at the park. We had nothing planned so we headed over there to look around.

Mount Saint Helens 10K- June 20th. The Mt St Helens Volksmarch was day eight of our trip to the Northwest for the AVA Convention. We stopped at multiple overlooks on the way to take pictures. After a stop at the checkpoint we walked over the river and back to the Coldwater Recreation area to do an out-and-back along the lake. Salem, OR 10K- June 19th.
