And it was a magical time. I was living on my own, I had a new boyfriend, I was going to Broadway shows and concerts on the regular and I was so, so happy. Vibrant silk, oils and fabric artworks. Robyn Jackson is fascinated by colour, texture, design and fabrics. She started with batik and progressed to fabric art and weaving during her college degree in Textiles and Design; and then expanded on this as a Textiles Teacher. Robyn now paints oils, silks and watercolours as well as fabric art. Inspired by beautiful shapes and rich colours in the amazing landscapes of Australia, she begins with an image in mind and then lets the colours create the story or mood.
