Constable Sue visited Room 1 to help everyone to Keep Safe. We have important homework to do now. Know our first and last name. Room 1 and Room 2 helped to make some yummy Basil Pesto using ingredients from the school garden! We helped to take off the basil leaves and then watched the the pesto being made, before we got to eat it! And we got to eat the Basil leaves too! We brought out Teddy Bears to school with us.
Thursday, 4 June 2015. We wanted to know what a forest looked like,. So we visited our school forest. We talked about what is happening to the trees in and around the forest in the Autumn time. Then we had some fun with leaf fights! Today we had to mix up paints to make the trunk and branches of our trees. We are going to make an Autumn forest in our classroom.
Miss Sharon shared her mihi with us and sang us a song. We did our own mihi and sang Miss Sharon a song. Our favourite waiata are Tena Koutou, Kia Tau Kia Tatou Katoa and E Toru Nga Mea. We are learning about space this term. Last week we painted galaxies using lots of glitter paint. This week we painted some big boxes to make a big rocket! Thank you for looking at our blog.
