I think God is smiling at me right now. She has a wicked sense of timing. About fifteen years ago, my ex-husband and I sold our car. The buyer, Tina, was a single mother who had a large down payment, and an even bigger sob story. Because we were young, strapped for cash, and idealistic, we floated the rest of the loan for her.
