I had an epic weekend up north at Tokerau beach. The weather played its part. Went out that afternoon while dad went for a tank dive, managed to snoop a 5kg snap sitting under a rock face in the weed. After that I found big snap sleeping in this hole. I had good cover, relatively simple approach and I had the shot, but I missed. I was pretty gutted about that one. One shot one fish! .
