I started out in a technical school studying in this field in 1979. Then in 1981 I acquired my very first job where shortly I was moved up from shop position to a field technician. I had the opportunity to work with many local and semi-local companies and learned just how the business really worked.

There are two types of systems on the market these days. One has a black wire type grill panel on the back. The other type has a motorized fan below and inside the cover where the compressor is. BOTH accumulate dust, pet hair, lint etc. and in time will result in a lowered efficiency of keeping the compressor cooled. This is its main purpose and function.

This is for those who have their washer hooked up in the washroom WITHOUT steel braded water lines.

There are Appliance Companies that do have their replacement parts made elsewhere.
