His name fit him perfectly. It fed every fantasy that Gussie Horton had conjured about Indians and forbidden love. His neighbors whispered that he was a murdering half-breed, which was true. But Gussie believed in second chances, and more importantly, her heart told her to believe in Max Lonestar.
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Deborah Childress who was born in Kentucky on October 20, 1974 and passed away on May 16, 2005 at the age of 30. We will remember her forever. A simple phone call away was something I took for gran.
Sunday, 24 May 2009. I did it - and it was AMAZING! It was much harder than I expected, and much more treacherous! The wall you see in pictures is the bit that the tourists walk on. We mostly walked on broken bits of the wall, on paths with no sides, on overgrown paths that run alongside the wall and up through the forest.
In October of 2008 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which is the reason for this blog. This will enable me create a diary of my care, and it will help update family and friends of my progress. I also hope it will be educational, insightful and an encouragement and resource for anyone who might be diagnosed with breast cancer someday. Saturday, April 25, 2009. A Long Overdue Update! I am trying to put everything in the den so that it is all in one area. Here is some stuff that I have been doing today - boxing and packing. Here are all of my purses and 2 coat racks- a girl has to have her vices. Here is the living room - with the other furniture. The box containes stuff that I am working on now that I will be taking. Ore I go on my journey.
