Growing up I was socially awkward, and an outsider. Often teased by other children, I related to my family and animals more easily than people my own age. My entire life I have kept a limited friends list, since I tend to be unsure of who I can really trust. Keeping up appearances was a tiresome process, but at the end of the day I knew there was a true friend waiting at home for me, my dog. Ripley was always genuine, and lo.
