Wednesday, 11 January 2017. We have been using music to help us with our English. Monday, 9 January 2017. We thought about the forces involved, e. g gravity pulled Icarus towards the Earth. We learnt about air resistance and then designed and made parachutes. We learnt that more surface area equals more air resistance so we needed to make our parachutes with the greatest possible surface area. We worked in teams to create our parachutes and then tested them with lots of Eggarus test dummies. Lots of Eggarus test dummies happily awaiting their jump.
