Monday, November 14, 2011. Blogger has been good to me overall. This is the site where I started my blog and learned the ins and outs of this great form of communication. Unfortunately, it has also been the site which had comments yanked at one point, was down for a while at another, has disallowed a couple of people trying to comment, and has given me spacing issues that would stump the problem-solving ability of Sherlock Holmes and Albert Einstein combined.

Friday, July 30, 2010. My nephew turned 7 years old the week of July 22nd and asked me if I would celebrate his birthday with him. how could I say no? For his birthday, we went to a skateboard park, which did not turn out as great as we had hoped, but the kids did have fun riding their scooters and skateboards.
